Forza Motorsport will indeed be available on Xbox Series X, Series S, and PC, but in traditional Forza style, it will not feature on the Playstation platform.
Just wanted to get that out there before things snowballed. While nothing has been confirmed so far in terms of a release date, there is one thing we do know what platforms the game will release on. To me that reads that at first the plan was going to be free to play, but now the plan has shifted to be more inline with previous releases (normal retail game). Forza Motorsport 8 is coming to Xbox Series XS and PC in the future, if you want to be part of the testers, you can sign up for the Forza. Forza (Italian for 'power') is a racing video game series released exclusively for the range of Xbox consoles and Windows 10 PCs. As the game is still developing so, it’s difficult to predict anything. Forza Motorsport 8 is expected to introduce new gameplay features like tire degradation, tire pressure, add new dynamic track temperatures and atmospheric pressure, and improved aerodynamics simulation. The reason is that most of the early Forza Motorsport games were released around September or October. Around April 2021, it was early in development, and a trailer was also launched for it. But Turn 10s sim racer has been on a hiatus of sorts. Forza Motorsport Release Date is still not announced yet. Once upon a time, you could expect a new Forza Motorsport like clockwork, every two years. Now, it’s time for season 8 that might be released either in late 2022 or in early 2023. I think the line from the article may have been misinterpreted. The first title was Forza Motorsport, and the second title was Forza Horizon. No sources were provided and i can’t find any other mention of this (only did a quick google search though) so who knows. Although i was reading a review of FH5 this morning and the reviewer indicated there are rumours Microsoft have abandoned initial plans in order to make the new motorsport game free to play.
